Workers Compensation Seminar
The Industrial Relations Society of WA in conjunction with Curtin University recently presented a seminar titled "Workers Compensation in WA - Reform and Practical Issues" at Curtin on the Park, Curtin University on Wednesday 23rd June 2004.
Dr Rob Guthrie, a leading authority in workers compensation law in Western Australia discussed the legislative changes being proposed under the Workers Compensation Bill 2004 and what they will mean to the worker. Ms Linda Thompson is the State Injury Services Manager (WA) for Coles/Myer Ltd, and focused on the practical side of injury management from an employer's point of view.
