Working Futures: Challenges and Opportunities
We had a FULL HOUSE on 28 August when were enthralled by a thought provoking presentation from Prof Russell Lansbury.
The Professor who is Professor of Industrial Relations and Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Sydney, has recently published a book with Ron Callus entitled Working Futures (Federation Press, 2002).
Russell Lansbury is a joint editor of the Journal of Industrial Relations and the founding Director of the Australian Centre for Industrial Relations Research and Training (ACIRRT). He has worked for British Airways in the UK and the ILO in Geneva. He has been a Senior Fulbright Fellow at MIT and Harvard in the US. He holds degrees in Psychology and Politics from the University of Melbourne and a PhD from the London School of Economics. He is a former President of the Industrial Relations Society in NSW.
