2010 Annual General Meeting

You are invited to the Industrial Relations Society’s Annual General Meeting and March Seminar.

The March Seminar will follow, with a presentation by Professor Al Rainnie from Curtin Graduate School of Business:
“Back to the Future? Coming back to (Western) Australian Industrial Relations”

Drinks and snacks will conclude the evening.

Attendance is free for members, $20 for non-members and $5 for non-member students, retirees and unemployed.

Please note that to vote at the AGM you must be a 2010 financial member of the IR Society.

Nominations are hereby called for the following positions on the Society's committee for 2010:
President
Vice President (2 positions)

Secretary

Treasurer

Editor

Government representative (2 positions)

Employer representative (2 positions)
Union representative (2 positions)

Academic representative (2 positions)

Professional representative (2 positions)
Committee member from any category i.e. Government, Employer, Union, Academic or Professional (2 positions)

Note:  Only financial members may nominate and vote.  Members may nominate themselves or nominate other members.  Nominations shall be in writing, including by email, stating the position for which the nomination is made, to the Returning Officer, Chief Commissioner Tony Beech at the WAIRC, Level 16, 111 St Georges Terrace, Perth 6000 or by email at ccchambers@wairc.wa.gov.au stating the position for which you wish to nominate. 

Nominations close 4pm, Tuesday, 9 March 2010. 

The ballot shall be a secret ballot of those financial members present at the AGM in person or by proxy; proxy voting forms will be obtainable by contacting the Returning Officer at ccchambers@wairc.wa.gov.au after nominations have closed.  For further information contact the Secretary at Jessica.holst@cciwa.com
